Parson's Bench
A very functional piece of furniture that will find a welcome spot in your entry. A place to sit and take your muddy boots off, and to store them out of sight.
A very useful and distinctive piece of furniture, the Parson's Bench has found a place in many entries and mud rooms. This example is about 17 inches deep by 65 inches long, but the plan is easy to modify to make it fit in other spaces. The basic plan is of a simple and relatively unadorned piece (good for one of modest skills), but the experienced woodworker will find it easy to dress this item up and make a showpiece of it. Twenty-one pages, PDF file, 10104K (this file is very large as it contains over 25 full-color illustrations).
